Introducing the Herring Cleaver! My version of a small kitchen/camp knife. Inspired by Japanese knife design, but with a scandi grind blade. Possibly the only scandi grind kitchen knife in the world. It excels at slicing and dicing veggies, meat, bread, whatever. Can even whittle in a pinch. The name was coined by my mom, who picked up an early prototype and said, “what is this, a herring cleaver?”
